  • Nantucket Golf Club

Nantucket Golf Club is a member-only 18-hole course, practice facility, clubhouse, and restaurant. The club prides itself on remaining true to the traditional game of golf by providing professional caddies, restricting the use of golf carts, and enforcing proper golf attire throughout the staff and members. Guests are permitted only with a member present.

Nantucket Golf Club hosts an annual Children’s Charity Classic benefitting grant and scholar programs for the island’s youngest generation. The event occurs mid-August and includes a cocktail party, a five-star dinner, a raffle drawing, and a live auction.

  • Miacomet Golf Club

If you’re a visitor to the island and looking for an 18-hole experience, you will need to book your tee time at Miacomet Golf Club. The sprawling land was initially intended as a cow pasture. Miacomet opened in 1963 and was expanded to 18-holes and given a facelift in 2003. The course is open year-round and provides practice facilities, four different tee options, and majestic views. Once you’ve finished up, visit their clubhouse for tasty house-made meals.

  • Siasconset Golf Club

Old Sconset Golf Club, or Siasconset Golf Club, was established in 1899 as the island’s only 18-hole public golf course. It is now a 9-hole course to protect the land, but it continues to remain open to the public, and it’s the perfect way to experience authentic Nantucket.

  • Sankaty Head Golf Club

Sankaty Head Golf Club is one of the most exclusive clubs on the island. Some of the club’s exclusive members include Jack Welch, Larry Bossidy, and Bill Belichick. The flawless course spreads throughout Siasconset with views of Sankaty Head Lighthouse and coastal cliffs. The Atlantic wraps around most of the front nine, and the back is flowing with beach grass, greenside bunkers, and wide-open tee shots.
