  • The Nursery

Nothing tastes as good as home-grown fruits and veggies. Prepare your next great salad with a crisp bunch of kale, arugula, or iceberg lettuce. Grab a few juicy tomatoes to snack on in the hotel. Or indulge in sweet, you-pick strawberries! Gather your harvest and feast on nature’s finest.

Better yet? Bring it over to the Nantucket Culinary Center and learn how to create your next great masterpiece! Their group of talented chefs will show you around the kitchen and all of the best ways to use your bountiful harvest.

  • The Greenhouse

Moor’s End’s greenhouse will leave you speechless. Since the island has long, harsh winters, most of the farm’s plants and seeds are kept in their expansive greenhouse. Visit during the spring and take in the fresh fragrance of the pink roses, sunny Daffodils, whispering Hyacinths, and so much more. Whether you’re a resident of the island looking for a front porch refresh or a visitor searching for the perfect bouquet to adorn their hotel end table, Moor’s End Farm has just the plant for you.

  • The History

Moor’s End Farm began as a roadside produce stand founded by Sue and Steve Slosek in the mid-1970s. Since then, the farm has grown from a tiny garden out back into a 20-acre farm, greenhouse, and nursery. They continue to produce some of the freshest greens on the island. The farm has since been taken over by their children, Sam and Abby, who continue to keep the farm-fresh mantra alive and well.
